How does it work?
Mimics GnRH, the brain hormone that signals the pituitary to release LH and FSH.
What is it used for?
A synthetic form of the hormone that signals the pituitary gland, prescribed off-label to support natural testosterone and fertility signaling, often alongside testosterone therapy. Your prescriber determines the use, dose and monitoring.
How is it used?
- Troche. Troches are placed between the cheek and gum and allowed to dissolve slowly. Avoid eating or drinking until fully dissolved.
Follow the directions on your label. The strength, amount and schedule are set by your prescriber.
Side effects and safety
Commonly reported: Headache, flushing, nausea, mouth irritation with troches. Call your prescriber or us about any reaction that concerns you.
Who should use caution?
People with hormone-sensitive cancers or pituitary conditions. Share your full medical history and medication list with your prescriber.
How should it be stored?
Store troches at room temperature unless your label says otherwise. Always follow the storage directions and beyond-use date on your label, and keep medications out of reach of children and pets.
Why is it compounded?
Compounding lets us prepare Gonadorelin in the exact strength your prescriber orders, in forms such as troche. Flavoring helps patients take it more easily. We can also leave out dyes, fillers or allergens when needed.
