How does it work?
Binds bile acids, which can irritate skin in diaper and perianal areas.
What is it used for?
Bile acid binder; in barrier ointments for diaper and perianal skin irritation. Your prescriber determines the use, dose and monitoring.
How is it used?
- Ointment. Ointments are applied in a thin layer to the area directed.
Follow the directions on your label. The strength, amount and schedule are set by your prescriber.
Side effects and safety
Commonly reported: Local irritation. Call your prescriber or us about any reaction that concerns you.
